I believe in the power of reading to turn kids into lifelong learners, engaged citizens, and empathetic human beings. I feel privileged to write stories for them.
My current focus is picture books: some rhyme, some don’t; most include humor; all strive to encourage kids’ sense of wonder and help them fall in love with reading.
I also blog at saturdaymeanspancakes.com. The blog began as a way to chronicle my quest to create family traditions and celebrate the magic of ordinary days. It’s since expanded to also include personal essays.
